David Schwartz, Director of Family Education at Congregation Anshe Sholom B'nai Israel in Chicago IL, writes:

"At our synagogue the area where people hang their coats is one of much conversation.  I hung up the posters with their accompanying explanations without any fanfare and just watched to see what would happen.

People were surprised by the new posters hanging on the wall.  They spent time reading them and discussing them with other people who were also getting their coats.  It was a good way to subtly increase Jewish content in a place where we we weren't doing anything (the coat area), particularly because people could take their new Jewish thoughts with them as they walked out the door immediately afterwards.

Tip of the day: 3M makes a "poster strip" that works really well.  You can get a Value Pack on Amazon that contains the 4 dozen you need to hang 6 posters and 6 accompanying explanations."
